So, another call for another interview in Mass. This time in Braintree. Which I think would be a little more doable than Framingham. I'm thinking, if this is the route I take, I can cash out some/all of my 401(k) to cover expenses. Not an ideal situation, but certainly an option. And it may not be exactly the job I want, but it is in sales, and would be something.

Still a little apprehensive about the idea of moving out of Portland. It's close enough that I could make it back no problem. But there I would miss, well everything. But I think it's time for me to make a fresh(er) start.

I could actually do this.

So, I've been using my g1 now for about six months, and I just today realized that there's no "open in new window" option in the browser. Minor complaint, and if that's all i have to bitch about as far asmy phone goes, that's not bad.

So, here's a little contest:

My ex-wife e-mailed me today. She wants me to pay half of a gas bill from our last apartment. The thing is, she managed to screw me over credit-wise, even after we were divorced. So, I'm trying to come up with the best way to tell her to go screw.

And that's where you all come in. Give me your best response, and I'll pick the one I like most, and use it, along with a note saying, "I'm having trouble finding the best way to say no, so I had contest, and here's the winner." And I'll buy you a beer.

Offer void in Tennessee, mostly because I don't know anyone in Tennessee.

At one point, I had eleventy-billion USB cables kicking around. I couldn't move without tripping over one. It was like "Snakes on a Plane", but with USB cables instead of snakes, and my apartment instead of a plane. Now I can only find the one that came with my G1, and it doesn't fit my camera.

Doesn't the "U" in USB stand for universal?

So, I am done drinking. Well, ok, not totally, but it should be an oddity to see me with beer in hand. The occasional with dinner drink, or the more infrequent at the club drink. I'm thinking one or two a month. My stomach's bad enough as it is, and I can't take hangovers anymore.

Really!? Two fucing hours to get home frm the mall? An hour of that was standing outside waiting for the bus. Then the bus was so damn packed that I barely had room to stand.

I fucking hate winter. A lot.

Really.

I saw a license plate that said "O2FISH".

I thought to myself "Oxygen fish? That doesn't make any sense."

5:47 pm - And A Seperate Personal Post
Off to Hanover for Thanksgiving with Janice's folks, who are wonderful people. I am so lucky to have found a girl who's not only incredibly sexy, and smart, and funny, and that makes me so very happy, but a girl who's family is great.

Back on Friday to spin the Blacklight Ball.

And, please, go help with Movember. There's only a few days left. If you can't donate, help by reposting my last post on your LJ and at Myspace. Thanks!!

Oh, and happy Thanksgiving, everyone. My friends are the reason I'm thankful.

5:44 pm - Please, Please, Help Out...
Sorry for the repeat, but it is important, and a very good cause. Any Little bit helps.

Hi All,

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'm growing a Moustache. That's right I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about tackling men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against prostate cancer.

To donate to my Mo you can either:

1.
Click HERE and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account, or
2.
Write a check payable to the ‘Prostate Cancer Foundation', referencing my Registration Number 1771561 and mailing it to:

Prostate Cancer Foundation
Attn: Movember
1250 Fourth St
Santa Monica, CA, 90401

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The money raised by Movember is donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation which will use the funds for high-impact research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

Did you know:

* Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in the US with one in six American men developing the disease and more than 28,000 men dying of the disease every year.
* African American men and those with a family history of prostate cancer are twice as likely to develop the disease and should have regular annual testing starting at 45. All other men should commence testing at 50.
* Prostate cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early.

For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details HERE.

Thanks for your support,

Wally.
